Rant Against Social Media Comments

People should never comment on anything unless and until they read the full article, or view the entire video, period!

Ernie often asks why I do what I do. My answer in the past has consistently been because I like what I do and love helping people. Secretly for months, I have not been as sure that it’s really worth the time, effort and aggravation I deal with.

Today I was a keystroke away in a social media comment, from referring to someone as a moron. I know some can’t help it and are genuinely clueless but others are instigating pot-stirrers, aggressive confrontationists, and show-off know-it-alls.

Equally as annoying are the people who give back-handed compliments (critiques disguised as compliments) or full public brain farts and delete their comment before they think I’ve seen it, even though all activity is sent directly to my inbox and I quite literally see everything.

In any case, it’s not great when those feelings start to bubble to the surface.
